The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport comes standard with a 1.5-liter EcoBoost I-3 engine capable of producing 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque, while the Bronco's base engine is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder generating 275 horsepower and 315 pound-feet of torque. Ford also offers a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine for the Bronco Sport that delivers 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. 

With the Bronco, you can enjoy a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine with an output of 315 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, or you can go with a 3.0-liter V-6 engine with an output of 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. The larger V-6 engine stars in the Ford Bronco Raptor, enabling a 3,500-pound towing capacity. The Bronco Sport's maximum towing capacity is 2,000 pounds. 

Design Elements

While the Ford Bronco Sport and the original Ford Bronco feature design elements that Bronco fans will instantly recognize, such as signature lighting and Bronco badging, some significant differences exist between the two. 

The Ford Bronco lets you choose between a two-door or a four-door design, while the Ford Bronco Sport is only available as a four-door SUV. Plus, you can remove the Bronco's roof for an exhilarating open-air driving experience. The bigger Ford Bronco gives you 83 cubic feet of cargo space, while the Ford Bronco Sport gives you 65.2 cubic feet with the second row folded down.
