With the F-150 Raptor, you can take advantage of a 3.5-liter high-output EcoBoost V-6 that generates 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, enabling a 13,300-pound maximum towing capacity. The Silverado 1500's towing capacity maxes out at 13,300 pounds when equipped with a Duramax 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine that puts out 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.
Interior Amenities
Both the Silverado 1500 and the Ford F-150 can seat up to six people, depending on which cab configuration you choose. While the cabins are similar in space, the F-150 has a sleek, stylish design that makes it feel more modern compared to the Silverado's boxier cabin, which can feel somewhat cluttered and cramped.
Plus, the F-150 offers features you won't find in the Silverado 1500, like a shift lever that you can fold flat into the center console to create a workspace.
